This is a façade concept for the Korean Culture Center competition in New York City.
Hangul is one of the most amazing aspects of Korean culture since its creation in the 15 century. It was a pure act of humanism by King Sejong so the masses could learn to read and write. The Hangul panels could slide open depending environmental necessity. The overlapping of the panels creates a depth of text adding literal and figurative depth to the façade.
